Aaron Victor Cicourel August 29, 1928 - July 22, 2023 Aaron Cicourel was a leading ethnomethodologist and Professor Emeritus at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) where he taught for over 40 years in the department of Sociology, School of Medicine, and as a founding member of the department of Cognitive Science.
