Today we're heading to Huatulco, Mexico in Part 2 of Scale the Depths! My goal is to completely finish the region by catching every available fish, serving hungry customers, and uncovering all of the secrets hidden beneath the waves. Along the way, I meet some unusual visitors, including an axolotl, a chupacabra, and other creatures inspired by Mexican folklore. The deeper I explore, the stranger things become. I uncover an ancient Aztec stone tablet, discover a sunken Mayan temple, and track down the mysterious Hoga, a mythical creature once described in Spanish letters from the 1500s. My final challenge is catching this elusive creature and delivering it to the region's most demanding customer: Quetzalcoatl, the legendary feathered serpent god.
