Lizette and Bianca enjoyed a wonderful carp fishing holiday there in March 2022 from the beautifully renovated peg 9. They fished with colleagues Bas and Jeroen, who spent their holidays there from pegs 10 and 15. Ruben van Tolij fished from pegs 7 and 8, and so each carp angler was enthusiastically hunting for the many 30kg+ carp that Etang des Gaulois boasts, in their own way this week. Because...let's be honest: who wouldn't want to catch a 30kg+ carp? Etang des Gaulois sits on approximately 60 hectares of private land and offers stunning views of the Mont de Beuvray mountain. With currently six known carp over 30kg (up to 37.3kg), approximately 30 carp between 25-30kg, approximately 150 carp over 20kg, and around 1000 carp in total, it's a wonderful combination of a good chance of action and a real carp pool.
