This time, we stayed at Shimoda Juraku Hotel in Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Shimoda Juraku Hotel, a beloved historic inn in Izu Shimoda, is a purely Japanese-style inn with ocean views from all rooms. A boat-shaped platter of a wide variety of fresh fish was served, including raw bluefin tuna and Shimoda's specialty, golden-eyed snapper. The sushi also had a wide variety of large toppings.
