In todays video I break down all of the costs involved in building a 4wd off-road vehicle ready for camping, 4wding and touring. I go through all of the prices of accessories, modifications and also put in an estimated labor rate. I have modified my Isuzu Mu-x over the last 3 years and have carried out all of the modifications myself. This has saved me a lot of money in workshop labor. In this video I calculate the estimated labor rate to build a 4wd vehicle like mine. I hope that this video gives you an idea of the costs involved in building a vehicle and fully customizing it. Please don't think that you need all of the accessories that I have fitted. I have fitted the accessories to suit my personal needs and preferences. Everybody will have different needs when it comes to there vehicle choice and also the way that they modify it. That is why the 4wd industry is so awesome! Working out a budget is a very important step when you are looking at purchasing any 4wd. This is especially important if you are trying to work out how much it will cost to purchase a vehicle and then also spend money on modifications as well. It is quite easy to spend a lot of money on 4wd vehicles. Good quality accessories do cost a lot of money. It is important to work out in what areas you can purchase cheaper items and in what areas you should purchase good quality items. Also buying things during sales is a great way to save some extra money.
