Radio Northsea International (RNI) - Theme Tune - Man Of Action 1970 (Les Reed Orchestra)
Pirate radio station Radio Northsea International's main theme tune in the early 70s was Man of Action by The Les Reed Orchestra. It's paired here with a popular RNI jingle of the time. If you were a Radio Northsea listener you'll doubtless remember the theme tune even though you probably won't recall its name. RNI continued broadcasting several years after the British government's Marine, &c, Broadcasting (Offences) Act 1967 which effectively banned pirate radio. RNI's ship was positioned in international waters off the Dutch coast.
