A lovely young couple visited us to inspect and perform necessary repairs on their recent purchase, a classic (soon to be 18) Audi S3 8p in its lighter, three-door guise. The car was comprehensively modified (with a 3-inch Miltec exhaust, HG MotorSport intake, and hybrid turbocharger, as well as the removal of the intake manifold flaps). The seller claimed it had 390 hp. However, the car had a number of mechanical issues, including some that significantly affected its power output. After fixing these issues and running the car on a dyno, the power output was still far from what the seller claimed.
