This garment can also be made without the lining -- just finish those seams nicely (i.e. serger, Hong Kong finishes) and you will have an impressive professional finish, too. I'll show you how I've constructed this garment from start to finish -- including the key details such as the facings, lining, and hems. This design is made for woven fabric -- fine wool, silk brocade, or linen. I have used a fine wool here, and a rayon material for the lining.
