Today I propose you a typical recipe from the beautiful SARDINIA. Malloreddus, also known as Sardinian gnocchetti, are a type of pasta made with re-milled semolina and water. I also added a little saffron to the dough, an ingredient present in the recipe for Malloreddus alla Campidanese which includes a condiment based on tomato sauce enriched with sausage and Sardinian pecorino. The name of this recipe derives from the area in which it was born, namely Campidano, the largest plain in Sardinia.
