Nuestra artista invitada a esta entrevista de Acento Musical es la extraordinaria pianista y compositora venezolana Gabriela Montero. En esta entrevista Gabriela nos cuenta sobre una de sus más recientes contribuciones al mundo de la música: Una serie de conciertos en la ciudad de Easton MD, Estados Unidos, en la cual se han invitado a prestigiosas figuras del escenario musical, permitiéndole a la audiencia que asiste tener una experiencia de concierto distinta, gracias al acogedor ambiente del teatro Ebenezer, y a la magnífica cercanía establecida entre artista y audiencia, propiciada en cada concierto. Hoy, Gabriela nos habla de su primera serie de conciertos en Easton y de sus artistas invitados así como de su propio concierto de apertura. También podremos ver, escuchar y deleitarnos con fragmentos de su concierto de apertura dedicado al tema del inmigrante. Today we have the honor and privilege of introducing you to the extraordinary, internationally recognized Venezuelan pianist, Gabriela Montero, in an interview that we have titled Gabriela Montero at Easton. In this program Gabriela tells us about one of her most recent contributions to the world of music: A series of concerts in the city of Easton MD, United States, in which prestigious figures from the musical scene have been invited, allowing the audience that attends to have a different concert experience, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere of the Ebenezer Theater, and the magnificent closeness established between artist and audience, fostered in each concert. Today, Gabriela tells us about her first series of concerts at Easton and her guest artists, as well as her own opening concert. We will also be able to see, listen and enjoy fragments of her opening concert. In addition to her experiences with this series of concerts and her experiences since she settled in Easton, Gabriela tells us about her most recent recognition, the award called: 2023 Classic Woman of the Year, (Classic Woman of the Year 2023) received last March, Awarded by PBS, Public Broadcasting Service of the United States.
