"I'll Sleep at Your Place - Portugal" / For this new episode, Antoine has chosen to test the Portuguese hospitality. First stop: Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Antoine strolls through the city's narrow streets. Three hilarious old ladies call out to him and talk about Fado, the traditional Portuguese song, and Antoine is in the mood. Then, on the tram, he meets Maria. He follows her to her school where she learns carpentry and marquetry. Later, he is invited to dinner at her home. Second stop: a small village in central Portugal, Idanha a Nova. Antoine enters a café, where a few men accost him and offer him food and drink. After a boozy evening, Antoine spends the night at Diogo's. The next day, he and his friends organize a barbecue. Of course, Antoine will be there. Finally, Antoine heads to the Azores, to the island of Pico. After a bumpy landing in the middle of a thunderstorm, Antoine tries to meet people. But the bad weather doesn't make things easy. There's no one on the streets, and the people he meets don't seem very forthcoming. The Globe Squatter ends up renting a car to travel to more remote locations. He stops in a village battered by wind and sea spray. The village seems completely abandoned. Who could possibly live there? Yet, there's a small cafe. Antoine recognizes the little girl who had a meltdown on the plane. He knocks on her parents' door, and they spontaneously invite him to their table.
