Uncut footage: Elephant Seal Mother Separated from Pup, Pup Very Confused.

It takes several days for new elephant seal mothers of their pups, but up to TWO WEEKS for a pup to learn their mothers! It appears during this sequence the pup doesn't recognize their mothers call for several minutes, after running away they come back, and still don't grasp it's their mother, but eventually just accepts it. After this video ends they were perfectly normal for the next hour while I stayed there. Unsure how they would operate in the coming days.
