Expresso Friday Dance: XO Empire Part 1
XO Empire is a dance crew choreographed by Cape Town based choreographer, Craig Julie. Xo Empire achieved top honours at the South African Hip Hop Dance Championship in December. They won first, second and third place in the local rounds and are on their way compete in the international rounds in Arizona in the US. Xo Empire began a few years ago with no funds and only 6 members. This gained plenty of views on social media exposing them to local and international exposure. Up until today he still doesn’t charge a fee to be part of the academy and blends all ages together. Craig’s goal is to get everyone to participate internationally and show the world what south Africa has to offer.
