BREAKING NEWS | Montreal Alert: Gunman Hunt After Shooting in Jewish Neighborhood The Montreal Police Service (SPVM) has activated an emergency alert and lockdown protocol in the Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood following a mass shooting near several Jewish community institutions. Canadian authorities have described the suspect, currently at large, as an armed and extremely dangerous individual, prompting the immediate deployment of tactical units and special security forces.
