DIY Wide Body Fenders (Not 3D Printed!) for MN82 - Fitting 70mm Tires | RC Crawler Upgrade

Welcome back! In this video, we're giving the MN82 RC Crawler a major upgrade: custom wide body wheel arches to finally fit those awesome 70mm tires! The goal was to make enough room for larger wheels (from \approx 66 mm to 70 mm) without using a 3D printer. This technique uses simple materials—Balia plate (5mm and 3mm for an 8mm arch) and basic tools like a Dremel and sandpaper. If you're looking for a DIY wide body kit for your RC rig, this is the video for you! Watch how I: Make a template of the wheel arches using paper tape. Cut the PLA plate to create the rough shape. Use a Dremel to open up the existing wheel arches on the body. Sand and shape the fenders to their final form (not 3D printed!). Paint and glue the new wide body fenders onto the MN82. Test the final look with both 66mm and the massive 70mm tires! This technique should work on nearly any RC body! 👇🏻👇🏻 Let me know what you think of the final look in the comments below! 📽️🎥🎥📽️ Related videos: MN82 3S LIHV Brushless    • MN82 VS 3S BATTERY - HOBBYKING - BOLTX LIH...   MN82 BRUSHLESS UPGRADE    • MN82 BRUSHLESS MOTOR UPGRADE - HOW TO DO I...   MN82;4 LINK TUNE    • MN82 - 4 LINK CONVERSION - TUNE & SETUP - ...   MN82 4 LINK CONVERSION    • MN82 4 LINK CONVERSION - HOW TO DO IT - SH...   ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻 On my channel, you'll see reviews and mud and off-road test drives of RC cars such as: Traxxas Trx4m contender, MN82, MN128, MN168, WPL C24, WPL C24-1, MN78, WPL C54, WPL C24-1, WPL C14, JJRC 8809, JJRC 8801, SG PINECONE SG1803, LDRC LD18401, LDRC, JJRC, HB TOYS, HB R1607, HB R1601...
