Sperare insieme, Don Renzo Pulidori: "Ho quasi 102 anni, ma sono giovane dentro"

Who better to testify to the hope of a man of nearly 102 years who describes himself as "young at heart"? Don Renzo Pulidori, born in June 1920 in Mugello, a parish priest for nearly 80 years (over half of them in San Casciano in Val di Pesa), shares a refreshing and joyful experience of life and faith. In his conversation with Massimo Orlandi, during the Romena per la pace demonstration, Don Renzo reaffirms the power of the Christian message of peace and love, calls on the church of the future to draw full inspiration from this message ("I," he says of himself, "have become a bit of a heretical priest over the years"), and offers us a heartfelt testimony of his certainty that there is a "Father" God, ready to embrace us: a God whom he, deeply moved, says he continually turns to, calling him "Dad."
