It once housed around 300 people, but now only one. The drive to the village takes about an hour. But the real adventure begins the moment you leave the highway. Here, all signs of life cease. One can only guess where the village begins: there is no sign, no road. The film crew from the "Counter-News" program on Channel One Moldova spoke with Anatoly, the only resident of Tricolici, and learned how the village came to be deserted and how he survives in complete solitude. "I've lived here since birth. I've been to Moscow for work, I've been visiting, I've lived in Bender, in an apartment in Causeni, and then I came here and have stayed here since 2015." “What’s the point of me going to the city? At my age, no one will hire me, just sit there… At least something has grown here, but there you have to buy everything, you have to have money.”
