Travels with Foggy - Art Camp Printmaking and Graffiti Sculpture

Travels with Foggy – Art Camp Printmaking and Graffiti Sculpture Foggy the goblin is back with another adventure at the Bartlesville Art Association Summer Art Camp! This week, our young artists are exploring the exciting world of printmaking. Students have been creating a variety of relief prints, experimenting with different carving techniques, inks, and papers to produce unique works of art. In this video, Foggy shares a look at some of the amazing prints created so far and gives viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of students hard at work in the studio. Foggy also takes a closer look at one of Steven Graham’s latest sculptures—a large abstract wooden piece covered in colorful graffiti-inspired markings, symbols, and drawings. Standing beside the sculpture are C-3PO and R2-D2, serving as size references and adding a touch of science-fiction fun to the display. The R2-D2 featured in the video is especially meaningful. It’s a treasured childhood toy that has survived for many years. After the original stickers wore away, new hand-drawn artwork was carefully added, giving the little droid a unique personality and a second life as part of the sculpture exhibit. Join Foggy as he celebrates creativity, imagination, printmaking, sculpture, and the wonderful work being created by young artists at BAA Summer Art Camp! #TravelsWithFoggy #FoggyTheGoblin #BartlesvilleArtAssociation #BAAArtCamp #Printmaking #ReliefPrintmaking #ArtCamp #StudentArt #SculptureArt #GraffitiArt #WoodSculpture #R2D2 #C3PO #StarWarsArt #StevenGraham #ArtEducation #CreativeKids #SummerArtCamp
