This could be the WORST Subaru BRAT Truck on the Planet! WILL IT RUN?
In this episode, we tackle what might just be the absolute worst Subaru BRAT (or Brumby as they are sometimes called) left on the face of the Earth. This iconic little pickup truck is almost 40 years old and it is painfully clear she has lived a seriously hard life. Decades of neglect and being completely exposed to the harsh elements have left this legendary machine in a state of absolute ruin. The damage is extensive, to say the least. Heavy, flaky rust has eaten its way through the body panels and the tyres are so flat they are practically peeling off the rims from sitting for years. It looks more like a permanent garden fixture than a functioning vehicle. But you know how we do it here, we can’t help but ask the ultimate question: will it start? Pop the hood and you'll find Subaru’s classic, horizontally opposed "boxer" engine, buried under years of cobwebs, grime, and leaves. These flat four motors are famous for their rugged reliability, but after sitting dead in the elements for a generation, this one has its work cut out for it. We are pulling out all the stops to see if this forgotten little truck still has a heartbeat. Will it start, or is this rusty relic destined for the scrap heap? We’re going to find out. Grab a cold drink, share your BRAT stories in the comments as we go and let’s see if we can pull off a miracle and get this classic Subaru truck back to life. Thanks for watching!
