How to create a server on Counter Strike 1.6

In this video, I'll show you how to create an Internet Server in Counter Strike 1.6 using Half-Life Dedicated Server (hlds). Steps to follow: 1. Go to the location where you have installed CS 1.6 and open the folder 2. Find hlds and open it 3. Set Server Name 4. Set Network to Internet 5. Set Max. Players 6. UDP Port should ALWAYS be set to 27015 in CS 1.6 7. Set anything in RCON Password (I have found no use for it so far) 8. Start Server 9. Every time you start a new server you will have to Configure it as per your needs. 10. Go to your web browser on the system that you are using to create the server and visit https://www.whatismyip.com/ 11. Copy over the Public IP address (this is what you need to share with your friends) Note: Check this IP every time you create a server, some IPs change every day (like mine) 12. Open Counter Strike 1.6 and go to console by pressing ~ 11. In the console you have to type the following command: connect [ip address]:[port number] e.g.: connect 27.48.145.55:27015 (like I stated earlier, the port number is always 27015 for CS 1.6) 12. Then hit Submit You should be able to connect to the server. Once you are done, you can be sure that the server has started successfully and you can the share the IP Address with your friends.
