THE CRIES OF PADASARI: Living in Ruined Homes and Makeshift Shacks Without Shelter. ​A harsh reality that our brothers and sisters in Padasari must face. Amidst the rubble of severely destroyed buildings, residents are forced to risk their lives. They desperately survive inside cracked, heavily damaged houses, or build basic makeshift shacks just to have a roof over their heads. ​All of this is out of pure necessity, as the available Temporary Housing (Huntara) is extremely limited and can only accommodate around 450 families. As a result, many residents are left without a safe place to live and are forced to survive in substandard conditions. Anxiety and fear haunt them every single night, especially when heavy rain and strong winds strike. ​Let’s Lend a Helping Hand! The burden they carry is far too heavy to face alone.
