Ronnie was adopted into the Blair family in 2019. While recovering in the hospital from stab wounds and burns inflicted by his biological father, the 12-year-old asked Hillsborough County Sheriff Mike Blair to watch a movie. Five months later, the Blair family grew from seven to eight. Ronnie O’Neal III was convicted of killing his son’s mother and disabled sister, stabbing his son, and setting their house on fire in 2018. He was sentenced to three life terms in prison.
