What is sevens football without its announcements? Latheef, according to many experts and followers of the 7s game, revolutionised the art of announcements with his heavy-weight scripts and goosebumps-inducing voice modulation. We find out his story in the second episode of Kalpanthu 7s ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 7s is a 15-part docu-series produced by Kalpanthu. It explores multiple facets of Sevens football (especially in the district of Malappuram in Kerala). The 7-a-side version of football is immensely popular in the region and often sees even Indian national team players competing. Why is 7s football so attractive? How did this format originate?
