The US Central Command announced the deaths of two American service members in Jordan and the disappearance of a third, while they were participating in countering Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. CENTCOM stated that the two soldiers were killed on Friday while carrying out their duties as part of operations conducted by US forces in cooperation with partner forces to counter the Iranian attacks. One service member remains missing. CENTCOM added that four other American service members were medically evacuated to hospitals in Jordan for treatment before being discharged.
