The film "Liberation" used a huge number of real armored vehicles, but not all of them were historically accurate. The filmmakers wanted to show the scale of the battles, so they often disguised post-war tanks as World War II vehicles. Many viewers had no idea that the Soviet T-44 was hiding under the "German" armor. Now, attentive tank experts immediately notice that the tanks differ from the original. When the film "Fury" was released in 2014, many viewers saw yet another Hollywood action film about World War II. However, tank crews and military historians quickly noticed one peculiarity: many of the tank scenes were much more realistic than in most war films. The film takes place in the spring of 1945 in Germany. The crew of an American M4 Sherman tank, nicknamed "Fury," advances through the Third Reich, encountering desperate resistance from German troops. One of the most famous scenes in the film is the battle between four American Shermans and a single German Tiger. At first glance, it seems that the Americans have the advantage in numbers. Four tanks against one. But in reality, things were much more complicated.
