Building and Installing Leveling Feet for a Wells-Index Milling Machine
My milling machine needed some leveling feet - so I made some! How I went about building and installing a set of leveling feet for my Wells-Index Milling Machine. Round 3/8" steel cutouts were used for feet and a large hex nut was welded into the center to create the foot. A piece of threaded rod was used for the adjusting screw and they were installed with some brackets on the mill.
