THE FINAL MONICA MONDAY 👩🏻‍🍳🎭

Oh my goodness. What a journey it has been to get here! If you’ve watched me every step of the way you’ll know that I’ve been on a massive personal journey through this contract and I’m so so happy to have documented it. It’s no secret that this role has been my biggest yet and it’s been a huge challenge which I’ve definitely struggled with at times. But I also want to be honest and tell you that behind the scenes this job has not been straight forward either. It’s actually been one of the hardest jobs of my career due more reasons than I can count. It’s taken huge mental power to stay positive and hold my grasp on reality when there was a continuous chaos erupting around us in the workplace. This, I do not show on the vlogs and wont go into detail about. But I think sometimes, those who have watched my videos for a long time can just TELL when things aren’t quite right. Theres more of these episodes than I care to admit. I’m so proud of myself for figuring out how to prioritise my happiness. I read a social media post the other day that said true happiness is actually just being able to face difficult things and not let them disturb your inner peace. I feel like I have had SO much practice at this for many different reason this year and sometimes I’d fail and sometimes I’d succeed. But towards the end there were far more successes than failures so I guess that’s something!! Surrounding myself with positive friends, love, my partner, family, nature and hobbies worked a treat. And you guys. You pour so much love and kindness into me on the weekly basis. It never goes unnoticed!! I love you guys.
