This Caddy should not be 4WD… but we’re doing it anyway. In this video we start one of the most complex builds we’ve taken on. Taking a Golf R MQB platform and making the full factory 4WD system work inside a PQ platform Caddy. This started life as a 2.0 TDI Caddy. What it’s becoming is something completely different. The aim is simple. A fully fledged Golf R 4WD Caddy using the full factory system. No shortcuts. No aftermarket workaround. Everything done properly. This is not just another loom swap either. We are repinning the entire system edge to edge to make the MQB setup function correctly within the PQ platform. This is where it gets serious. On top of that this Caddy also features a full panoramic roof conversion installed in house, making this build even more unique. This is going to be one of our most in depth builds yet.
