Hike to Icicle Ridge, Leavenworth, Washington | 5.5 miles, June 2023

This is a popular and enjoyable hike! The trailhead is just outside the Bavarian themed town of Leavenworth, WA. The trail switch backs up the hill to reach Icicle Ridge in about 2.7 miles. There are great views to the left of the ridge, looking down on the Wenatchee River and Highway 2, and to the right and ahead you can see the Icicle Creek and Leavenworth. The day I went was pretty warm, but there are plenty of tall trees along the way provide shade. I heard lots of birds and saw some pretty wildflowers. Thanks for watching!
