WIDEWATER - Eastern Sands

Another video from Widewater in the Shoreham to Lancing area, West Sussex (UK). Three daytime sessions in July (recorded on 10.07.23, 18.07.23 and 20.07.23) fishing with the hope of catching flatfish at Eastern Sands at the western end of Widewater. All three were short sessions, fishing a couple of hours up to high water, then a couple down. The first session produced mainly black bream; the second was fished the day after storm conditions, with coloured water and plenty of weed; the third a couple of days later when the water was clearing and there was plenty of action. Mixed catches were taken, but the target species did turn up in the first two sessions. Rigs and techniques employed are dealt with.
