US Makes 'Microwave Cannon' That Kills 50 Drones In One Second | Vantage on Firstpost | 4K

The United States has unveiled a new weapon that can counter drones for cheap. Lockheed Martin has made the Morfius X-Rotor, drone that carries a 'microwave cannon' on its spine which fries electric circuit boards of other drones. This microwave fires electromagnetic waves at incoming drones, forcing their electronics to overheat and malfunction, which results in the drones falling down. The Morfius X-Rotor is launched from the ground and can be reused for multiple missions. Once deployed, this drone will be among the cheapest ways to destroy incoming aerial drones. Meanwhile, Ukraine is also working on several cheap drone interceptors, however, they are armed with explosives and can pose risks to civilians, while the Morfius X-Rotor can intercept drones without risking civilian lives.
