Mountain running in Ireland, this time up Croagh Patrick (The Reek) on The Wild Atlantic Way, west of Ireland in County Mayo near the town of Westport. Over 25,000 people climb Croagh Patrick, on Reek Sunday, the last Sunday in July in honour of Saint Patrick who is said to have spent 40 days fasting on the mountain in 441 AD.
