Synopsis 2020 saw the spread of COVID-19 and lockdowns around the world. Shinsaku (Masaki Suda), who works for a large Tokyo company, moves to a coastal town in Sanriku, Tohoku, when his company introduces remote work. He rents a 4-bedroom apartment for 60,000 yen a month and spends his free time at the beach, enjoying his hobby of fishing. His naturally positive personality helps him connect with the eccentric residents, and his life begins to change dramatically.
