Film Liberation of the Roma Nation
The film covers part of the fourth chapter, dedicated to the period when, after the First Congress in London, Grattan Paxson comes to Skopje, in Šuto Orizari, where, together with Faik Abdi, he works on organizing the Second Congress of the Roma. During that period, he meets Sanija Ibrahim, whom he later marries. The film depicts his activism for Roma rights, for which he was expelled from Yugoslavia several times, as well as part of his personal life. Many parts of this part of the book were not included in the film due to their scope. All authorizations are on the EU Romapress web portal.
