The 513,000 mile Picasso will not be with me for much longer, but before it goes I wondered if I'd have any regrets about replacing our own Picasso 'Desire' 8 years ago with a Ford S-Max 2.5T Titanium. So, what follows is a completely fair test between a 90bhp diesel that's been to the Moon, come back, and has on the way to completing the journey a second time, and a 220bhp SAV that cost twice as much new. This is why I don't do road tests.
