Skink Eggs Hatching [ Five-lined Skink ]

These are the same skink eggs that I found in my compost pile a few weeks ago and they are hatching! I didn't actually have a whole lot of hope that these skink eggs would hatch. I incubated the small lizard eggs in my house for a couple of weeks and sure enough, I have hatching baby five-lined skinks. The skinks took a really long time to hatch out of their eggs. The average skink egg hatch time is 24 -55 days I so they must have been a little older when I found them. I made a timelapse video on them hatching. These blue-tailed lizards are super cute. when they reach adulthood they look very different.
