ANN WIDDECOMBE MURDER: Why Did The MEDIA Name Him... But NOT The Police? #truth_hurts

The media has now identified the suspect in the murder investigation as Joshua Kerry. But here's the question that immediately came to mind... If the name can legally be published by newspapers and broadcasters, why wasn't it released by the police themselves? In this video I look at the timeline, the public statements, and the growing list of questions surrounding this investigation. This isn't about declaring guilt or speculating on innocence. Everyone is entitled to the presumption of innocence unless and until proven guilty in court. Instead, I'm asking why the information reaching the public appears to be coming through journalists rather than directly from the investigating authorities. If the identity can be reported, why wasn't it part of an official police appeal? Could there be legal reasons? A strategic investigative reason?
