원타이거리스 판초쉘터(TENTSFORMER Poncho Shelter) 우천 사용평가(feat. ODC 마크1 가성비 알파인스타일텐트)

Water resistance: 1500mm, weight: approximately 640g. Comes with six pegs and two guy lines. Structure-wise, it offers better protection from rain and wind than a square poncho. It quickly and easily transforms into a shelter. Even tall users over 180cm can lie down comfortably. It offers more space than a square poncho, offering better shelter protection and habitability. It features five pegs for support and one peg and a tree branch (pole) for complete installation. Due to gusts of wind, we lowered the height, which can lead to rainwater pooling at the ends. This can be resolved by narrowing the installation area and raising the support lines. In rainy or windy conditions, the sleeves should also be pegged down, which means two pegs are not enough. Even considering the increased price, it's more appropriate to provide eight pegs as standard. Three guy lines should be provided (one for the poles and two for the sleeves). This level of peg-down ensured the tent withstood strong winds overnight. Previously tested, the One Tigers Bungalow tent was found to be one peg short because it omitted auxiliary pegs to lower the unit price. However, we believe it's right to provide sufficient accessories to ensure users can maximize the product's performance. Even considering the increased price, we believe providing additional pegs and guy lines is a good idea. It's best to let consumers decide on their own whether to use them. Peg-downs on the sleeves are essential in inclement weather, so they should be included as standard. The installation photos on the sales website show eight pegs and three guy lines, which could be confusing for consumers. We encourage them to reconsider the current package, as users who only use the basic product are likely to miss out on maximum performance. (Two pegs and one guy line are insufficient for a perfect installation.) I found this product to be satisfactory as both a raincoat and an emergency shelter. It has a practical design that shares many similarities with the poncho shelter I've long wanted to make. If I get the chance, I plan to build a survival poncho shelter of my own design. While it's less portable than a traditional square poncho in terms of weight and volume, considering its performance and functionality, I think I'll be carrying this in my backpack most of the time.
