Exploring one of Newcastle’s most iconic food spots 🇬🇧 In this vlog, me and my sister start our day at Grey’s Monument before heading down into the historic Grainger Market to see what it has to offer. No big plan — just good food, a wander, and a look at some of the market’s best independent traders. We pick up ingredients for an upcoming burger video, starting at Finlay’s Quality Butchers where we grab their caramelised onion burgers. Then it’s over to Bryan Muers & Son for fresh salad, followed by a visit to Matthew’s for cheese and one of their unreal onion relishes. After that, we properly settle into what the market does best… eating. My sister goes for a pepperoni slice from Pizza by the Slice, and we also try crispy wontons from Pick Thai, PLUS the famous King Baby Bagel loaded with salted ham, pease pudding, pickles & mustard. .. Oh and not to mention the Loaded Fries from Bao Down...ELITE! To finish things off, we head to The French Oven for something sweet — jam coconut sponge and tipsy cake.
