Tilting Operation of 315-Ton Presses with Hydraulic Gantry System

Dismantling and transportation operations of 4 cold press machines, total weight of 315 tons, were successfully carried out by Hareket at Seydişehir Eti Aluminum Factory. Hareket which designed special kits for presses in the hot and cold rolling field, made technical modelling modeling via 3D measurements. Thanks to the modeling; a technical model was created and the lifting kits were produced, whose design completely belonged to Hareket. By using the Mobil Hydraulic Gantry System (Hareket HHGS), the presses that were in vertical position, were tilted 90 degrees to horizontal positions and carried 88 meters horizontally and taken onto the vehicle. In the final process, the equipment was taken on the vehicle and left on the support in the warehouse area.
