Self watering Wicking bed, IBC beds with a few modifications Hi folks. This clip shows a few modifications I've been making to the IBC wicking beds when constructing them. The extra water holding capacity reduces the frequency of watering needed during the warmer months making them a bit more time efficient as well. I am a huge fan of wicking beds with the majority of the plants grown here coming from a wicking bed or wicking Root Pouch gardens. They help to conserve water & save you a lot of time watering.
