I wrote Oceans during a period of huge personal change — losing my grandfather, my mum’s stroke, the end of an eight-year relationship. It became a moment of calm after all that chaos — the sound of acceptance. The track blends organic folk textures with ambient soundscapes and layered vocals that ebb and flow.
