The song hit No1 in both the United Kingdom and the United States and is the group's biggest hit to date. My Cover is based on The Shadows instrumental version on their 1987 CD “Simply Shadows” Used by Alan Brason Strat with Kinman FV-HMS pickups for the main tune and my Fender 56nos custom Strat with Kinman Impersonator 54’s V3 for the 2nd guitar part through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP patch 0-36. Presonus Audiobox USB soundcard and into Cubase on the computer. I modified a commercial Backing Track by raising the pitch by 1 semitone and shortening it to match The Shadows version. http://www.karaoke-version.co.uk/cust...
