For my first recording example of the Behringer UV1 I pair it up with the Tech Zone Audio Products Stellar X2 XLR studio condenser microphone. For the actual recording of the audio output from the Behringer UV1 I have it connected via USB to my Mac Studio Ultra and I am using DaVinci Resolve to record the output from the UV1. One thing worth mentioning is that my Mac seen the UV1 without any issues and Resolve also seen it immediately as an output device for audio monitoring and also as an audio input source for routing the mic to an audio track in the Fairlight audio page in Resolve. I will do a video soon showing how to connect the Behringer UV1 to a Mac and also a number of other devices such as iPhone, iPad, Android phone and Android tablet. The Behringer UV1 is basically a traditional voice channel strip which is also a USB audio interface, or sound card as some people call these things. It comprises of a microphone and line in pre-amp on XLR and 1/4" quarter inch jack, compressor, de-esser, enhancer, expander/gate. There's also a an effects bypass switch, a master output summing bus and a headphone monitor section that has a direct monitor function that balances the input of the UV1 against the return of a DAW from the USB connection.
