Facing Chile's strictest border isn't easy… and we learned that firsthand. Leaving Argentina, we followed the Andes Mountains towards Chile, passing through one of the most impressive roads of the trip. But what seemed like just another day on the road turned into one of the tensest moments of our lives on the road. The Chilean border inspection is known for being extremely rigorous — and with a motorhome, everything becomes even more intense: They search everything! But after finally crossing the border, we continued along the famous Los Caracoles road to Los Andes, where we showed a little of real life in Chile — from the supermarket to the simple routine inside the motorhome. The next day, we returned to Argentina to renew our stay and continue living on the road for a while longer.
