This New Jersey Living episode is being filmed in Maplewood, New Jersey, and we are at the very entrance of Memorial Park, as you can see right here behind me. On the other side, where a train is pulling up, is the Maplewood train station. There is also Maplewood Country Club, so there is a golf course right in town. From Maplewood driving distance to Midtown Manhattan is probably about 40 minutes. In Maplewood high school, grades 9 through 12 are a-rated, and Maplewood is K-8 in terms of its own schools, which are also a-rated. Maplewood Ave has all the shops, restaurants, and retail; it's a very nice, quaint area right here, walking distance from the train station. Maplewood is a town with a lot of diversity, like Montclair and South Orange. These are 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s Colonial homes with large master bedrooms. This is a well-kept property, so I knew it wouldn't last long, but I didn't expect it to sell for 25 percent more. That will slow the real estate market, which will affect prices.
