Birchbark Canoe Making - Episode 7 - Paddling on the Lake !
After about 2 months of assembling and building during my spare time, I am finally finished and able to take the canoe out for a paddle. I did not film the exterior gumming of the canoe, I just wanted to get it done. The recipe and method is exactly the same as what I did on the inside of the canoe. I will finalize some of the winter bark design scratching later on as time allows. This can be done after the canoe is ''paddle able''. Please let me know what you would like to see more in detail for my next birchbark canoe build videos. I will be showing more of the ''individual'' pieces construction and less of the ''assembling the whole canoe'' in the future.
