Hoverair X1 Pro BEACON and APP - FLAWED OR GENIUS?

I take a deep dive looking at the Hoverair X1 Pro's Beacon accessory - a separate tracking module with the ability to show you what your drone can see, as well as manually control your drone...sort of. Is it a flawed addition or technological genius? I also go through the companion app and its ability to manually control your X1 Pro and Pro Max. Anything specific you'd like to see?
