He told us to keep the 10 commandments many many times, including the sabbath, which is every 7th day on Saturday dawn to dawn (Matthew 19:16-17, Revelation 22:14-15, Luke 10:25-27 quoting Deuteronomy 6:1-5 and Leviticus 19:15-18). Grace is conviction to obey God's commandments (Titus 2:11-12, G5485 in Strong's concordance "divine influence upon the heart"), it is not unmerited favor as every christian says (Jude 1:4). The sacrificial law was ADDED to the holy covenant at Horeb because of transgressions--the molten calf. Christ will also come back at his 2nd coming and destroy all pork eaters (Isaiah 66:16-17), so you must still keep the food laws because this is an everlasting covenant shown by the rainbow since Genesis (Genesis 6-9) as Noah brought in the clean by 7s and the unclean by 2s, then when he got out of the ark he sacrificed all the clean animals. Peter interprets his own vision in Acts 10:28, clarifying that the vision is about people and not animals. Christ addresses traditions of men that transgress God's commandments in Mark 7, as he never once mentions unclean animals. The burden of keeping the 10 commandments isn't on God or on his son. They are simple commandments.
