Canvas Wars 2026 was an incredible experience. I had so much fun putting every piece of this event together—from the original concept, to building the app, recording the radio commercial, promoting the event, preparing canvases, making snow cones, creating merchandise, connecting artists and sponsors, and watching the excitement build along the way. Like any first-year event, there were ups, downs, surprises, and plenty of lessons learned. But seeing artists, sponsors, judges, friends, families, and community members all come together made every bit of the work worthwhile. Thank you to everyone who helped bring Canvas Wars to life.
